- International The "Hobart Multicultural Dance Group is an informal group of people who meet regularly to share folk dances from a wide range of cultures. You are welcome to join us at our regular dances; no partner or previous experience is required. We meet for Circle and Folk Dancing every Thursday night at 8pm in St Peter's Hall, Grosvenor St cnr Lord, Sandy Bay. Cost is $3 and a contribution to a shared supper. - Sacred Circle Dancing " uses traditional folk dances and contemporary circle dances to celebrate the rhythms of life. In Sacred Dance we aim to honour both the traditions of the dance and how the dance affects us. By sharing dance in a circle we grow in community. Sacred Dance is at 7pm the third Sunday in each month, St James Church Hall, off Rupert St, North Hobart. Each Sunday has a specific theme and all dances are taught.
